08/06/2006: "More on that 'security flaw'"

Close inspection of the video referenced in the last post shows that the wireless card used is a USB device, disguised to look like a ExpressCard/34.

The disguise? Its got paper wrapped around it, and Maynor holds the USB device in such a way that we never get to see the connector. Still, the way he waves it around, we're clearly expected to think that its something its not.

Sheesh.

I got interviewed by a German Mac magazine, Metamac. Too bad they didn't send the models.
